LAURA BROWNING, PA-C

Laura is a Certified Physician Assistant with a special interest in dermatological hair, skin and nail disorders. Prior to joining Atlanta Dermatology & Laser Surgery, Laura worked in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Laura has a graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants.

AMANDA SANDERS, PA-C

Amanda has been a Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology since 2008 and has been with Atlanta Dermatology and Laser Surgery since 2013. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is affiliated with Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Amanda received her bachelor’s degree from South Carolina State University and her master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School.

MICHELE SALAZAR, LASER SPECIALIST

Michele has been with Atlanta Dermatology and Laser Surgery since 1990 initially as a Certified Medical Assistant. While working under Dr. Cooper as a CMA, she began training to become a Certified Laser Technician. Michele has performed cosmetic and laser procedures for 21 years, and is an active member of The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. As an expert in laser and cosmetic procedures, Michele specializes in laser resurfacing, facial rejuvenation, tattoo removal, laser hair removal, skin tightening, fat reduction, and more!

CJ HOOD, LICENSED ESTHETICIAN

CJ  graduated with honors from Paul Mitchell the School Esani in 2011 and became a Licensed Esthetician. In 2012 she became a Certified Medical Aesthetician in 2012. She is passionate in making individuals feel and look their best. Since 2012, CJ gained a wealth of experience working in a nationally recognized plastic surgery center performing customized facials, microdermabrasions, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, HydraFacials, skin tightening procedures and skin care for all ages. She joined our practice in 2015 and is happy to add Exilis and Vanquish to her list of specialties. CJ joined Atlanta Dermatology & Laser Surgery  in 2015 and we are thrilled to have her add growth to our aesthetics department.
