Botox is approved by the FDA for treatment of the vertical lines between the eyebrows. Botox may also be used in other areas of the face to improve wrinkles. Botox consists of botulinum toxin-A, which inhibits the muscle activity that leads to moderate to severe lines and wrinkles.
